About the Journal
The Integrated Scientific Journal (RCI) is an interdisciplinary open-access journal from Brazil, founded in 2012, with the mission of promoting the dissemination of scientific knowledge and stimulating innovative initiatives in scientific and professional research and practice, focusing on international dialogue. It publishes manuscripts on a continuous basis, in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, including original research articles, reviews, and experience reports, according to its editorial guidelines, and may launch thematic calls for papers at the discretion of the Editorial Board.
RCI adopts rigorous criteria for scientific quality, requiring a consistent theoretical framework, argumentative clarity, theoretical-methodological coherence, and correct language, accepting only original and exclusive manuscripts. Published exclusively in electronic format (ISSN 2359-4632), the journal follows the Diamond Open Access model, with no submission or publication fees (APCs), and uses the abbreviation Rev. Científica Integrada.
The editorial process is based on double anonymous peer review, with an initial evaluation between 90 and 120 days and an average processing time of up to five months from submission to publication, with the final decision resting with the Chief Scientific Editor. The journal observes the Uniform Requirements (Vancouver) and the ethical best practices of COPE and CONEP, with an anti-plagiarism policy supported by similarity detection software. Articles are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC CC BY-NC-ND), allowing deposit in repositories and reuse with proper attribution, and RCI accepts the declared use of Artificial Intelligence, provided it does not compromise scientific integrity and remains under the responsibility of the authors.

A Revista Científica Integrada (RCI) é um periódico interdisciplinar de acesso aberto do Brasil, fundado em 2012, com a missão de promover a disseminação do conhecimento científico e estimular iniciativas inovadoras em pesquisa e prática científico-profissional, com foco na interlocução internacional. Publica manuscritos em fluxo contínuo, nos idiomas português, espanhol e inglês, contemplando artigos originais de pesquisa, revisões e relatos de experiência, conforme suas normas editoriais, podendo lançar chamadas temáticas a critério do Conselho de Editores.
A RCI adota critérios rigorosos de qualidade científica, exigindo referencial teórico consistente, clareza argumentativa, coerência teórico-metodológica e correção de linguagem, aceitando apenas manuscritos originais e exclusivos. Publicada exclusivamente em formato eletrônico (ISSN 2359-4632), a revista segue o modelo Diamond Open Access, sem taxas de submissão ou publicação (APCs), e utiliza a abreviatura Rev. Científica Integrada.
O processo editorial baseia-se no double anonymous peer review, com avaliação inicial entre 90 e 120 dias e prazo médio de até cinco meses da submissão à publicação, cabendo ao Editor Científico-Chefe a decisão final. A revista observa os Requisitos Uniformes (Vancouver) e as boas práticas éticas do COPE e da CONEP, com política antiplágio apoiada por softwares de detecção de similaridade.
